FOR every Prosperity Burger meal purchased from Nov 20 to Dec 31, McDonald’s Malaysia donates 20sen to Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) Malaysia.

McDonald’s Malaysia welcomed the long-awaited return of its Prosperity Burger with a launch event titled “Prosperity Di Atas Awan”, held at KL Tower.

Guests were treated to a dazzling drone-light showcase, where synchronised formations lit up the night sky with the outline of the Prosperity Burger, its signature peppery swirl and the campaign theme “Prosperity Kembali, Lebih Bererti”.

The Prosperity Burger’s return this year is tied closely to McDonald’s commitment to community support.

McDonald’s Malaysia senior vice-president and chief impact officer Melati Abdul Hai said the “Prosperity” season has always been about more than just a meal.

“Every bite becomes a blessing. Prosperity is about lifting others, especially families and children who rely on RMHC for support, comfort and dignity.”

She said the charity’s work reaches families at their most vulnerable moments.

“RMHC is more than our charity of choice.

“For many families, it is a lifeline.

“It’s the quiet comfort of a Ronald McDonald House where parents can stay close to their child during tough times, and the joy of a child discovering the world in a sensory room built just for them,” Melati added.

The launch was presided by McDonald’s Malaysia managing director and local operating partner Datuk Azmir Jaafar together with Melati, who jointly activated the Prosperity 2025 campaign video, signalling the start of the annual season.

Earlier in the day, children under RMHC care from Hospital Tunku Azizah and Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz UKM were invited to KL Tower for a special visit.

For many, it was their first time being at the iconic landmark.

Their excitement and smiles were later shared in a video screened during the launch, with the message that prosperity becomes more meaningful when shared with others.

With the Prosperity Burger now back in its restaurants nationwide, McDonald’s Malaysia hopes it will continue to bring people together while helping to uplift children and families across the country, uniting Malaysians in the spirit of generosity because true prosperity is best enjoyed together.
