Old boys of La Salle Brickfields Class ‘94 reconnecting after three decades.

CAMARADERIE abounded when the old boys of SMK La Salle Brickfields, Kuala Lumpur, reconnected after three decades.

Held at a resort in Alor Gajah, Melaka, many at the reunion took the chance to rekindle past bonds and deepen their friendships.

Class of 94’ president Zuafzanizam Zolkifli and vice-president Siva Kumar Vadivelu went the extra mile to encourage their former classmates from Klang Valley as well as those outstation to join the event.

Zuafzanizam said the reunion was filled with laughter, rekindled stories and reflections on the success of friends and classmates post-school.

“It was incredible to see how everyone’s lives have evolved.

“Yet, the bond we share remains as strong as ever,” he said in his opening remarks.

Echoing this sentiment was Siva Kumar who was thrilled to see his old school friends.

He highlighted the importance of maintaining lifelong connections forged in the school classroom and sports field.

About 30 old boys at the reunion paid tribute to teachers and mentors who had left a lasting impact on them.

“A moment of silence was also observed for teachers who had passed on,” said Zuafzanizam.

He added that plans are afoot for more frequent meet-ups to foster better friendships among all.
