Those who love being on the water can try standup paddleboarding or pedal boat.
TAMAN Tasik Titiwangsa offers a range of activities across its grounds and on the water, which one can enjoy alongside views of the Kuala Lumpur skyline.
The popular 46ha city park, located just 3km from the downtown area, is built up for a host of activities – think jogging, skating, cycling, racquet sports, team games or just chilling out at a picnic.
The centrepiece, though, remains the lake – an oasis in the frenzy of city living.
Once an abandoned tin mining pool, the rejuvenated lake serves as a place to enjoy water recreational activities.
The active can try kayaking, in single seater or tandem, rented on-site.
There is also standup paddleboarding, arranged via groups that love working even harder to propel themselves across the water on a wobbly bit of kit and usually getting dunked in the process.
For a more relaxed cruise, try the leg-propelled pedal boats which are also family-friendly.
And fear not, little children – and adults who refuse to entertain the thought of being on any body of water – the park has a water playground that offers a splashing good time especially on hot days.
