Delegates of the 28th Miss Tourism International 2025 World Final will be ambassadors of tourism, both for their own nations and for Malaysia.
With Malaysia hosting this year, the event aligns with efforts to promote Visit Malaysia 2026 (VM2026), with the 38 delegates shining the spotlight on Malaysia’s attractions.
The ongoing event leads up to the World Final Coronation Night on Oct 18 at Genting International Showroom, Resorts World Genting (RWG).
The delegates will first participate in promotional initiatives and cultural activities at Hyatt Place Kuala Lumpur, Bukit Jalil before being taken to RWG for final preparations ahead of the grand coronation.
Founded and owned by Tan Sri Danny Ooi, the Miss Tourism International brand has grown from its humble beginnings of 20 participating countries in 1994 to now being represented in over 120 countries.
The hallmark of Miss Tourism International lies in its unique theme of “Promoting Tourism, Culture & Friendship”.
Unlike other global pageants, it distinguishes itself by crowning five titleholders in one grand finale, replacing the traditional “runner-up” system with titles under the Miss Tourism International brand.
The delegates each carry the mission to foster cultural exchange and the pageant will shine a global spotlight on Malaysia’s vibrant culture and tourism offerings.
The event is presented by Mahsia Media Group, with support from Tourism, Arts and Culture Ministry, Tourism Malaysia and corporate partners.
The 2025 World Final will culminate in an evening of elegance featuring cultural showcases, entertainment and national costume parade.
The winners will be chosen by a panel of judges comprising industry experts, celebrity personalities and former beauty queens.
Alongside the main titles, two special awards and 11 subsidiary titles will also be presented.
Fans can vote for their delegate in the “Dreamgirl of the Year International 2025/26” contest from now until Oct 17, via dreamgirl.1voting.com
The winner, crowned during the final, secures a direct place in the Top 10.
A gala dinner will be served during the event at RWG.
