Spate of fallen trees in KL after heavy rain

A spate of fallen trees at an exit near Jalan Damansara heading towards KL Sentral and Bangsar has caused a massive jam.

KUALA LUMPUR: Several incidents of fallen trees have been reported in Kuala Lumpur following the downpour that started at about 4 pm on Monday (Sept 22).

Photos shared on social media showed a spate of fallen trees at an exit near Jalan Damansara heading towards KL Sentral and Bangsar.

The trees appeared to have blocked the leftmost lane, causing traffic congestion on the other two lanes.

Another fallen tree also caused traffic snarl in Jalan Istana heading towards Jalan Sungai Besi.

In Jalan Pantai Murni, Bangsar, a fallen tree had completely blocked road access near the Desa 2 Aman police quarters.

More to come.
