Rockafellers PJ is one of several great chill-out spots in Jaya One, offering a good selection of live sports on screen and live music from the stage.

This Sunday, enjoy the Much Music Fest 11.0 with three bands back-to-back from 8.30pm onwards.

Just over a month old, A Bar Above’s Black Edition offers great vibes and good pub grub in Phileo Damansara.

True to the flavour of its first outlet, this bar also serves up live music with Extreme Duo hitting the stage on Tuesday nights and Soulseekers jamming up a storm on Wednesdays from 8pm onwards.

Friday nights belong to the Groove Company while all-girl outfit D’mure fills in the Thursday spot.

Now entering its 12th year, Merdekarya continues to be at the forefront of promoting the indie scene.

Tonight, itsjustsam takes the stage for a night of indie pop while tomorrow, head honcho Brian Gomez is back with more acoustic folk rock.

Next Tuesday, blues fans are in for a treat with the Blues Dancing Socials back for more fun on the dance floor. For details, check out @bluesdancingkl on Instagram.

Next Thursday, Suehaila turns up the heat with some soul and R&B while country fans can groove to the rhythms of Khid Buck & The Bucks next Friday.

To round off next week, singer-songwriter Fabian Mark Peter brings some of his friends along for a great night out.

Dasha Logan, meanwhile, pays tribute to Amy Winehouse next Thursday and Friday with two nights of “I told you I was trouble”.
