Jellyfish, salmon, abalone among yee sang options for Lunar New Year

The Auspicious Yee Sang menu at Xin Cuisine Chinese Restaurant in Concorde Hotel Kuala Lumpur offers four options – jellyfish, Norwegian salmon, abalone and mixed fresh fruits – in medium and large sizes.

Prices range from RM108nett to RM200nett.

There are three Chinese New Year set menus, each offering nine courses.

They are the Abundance Set Menu (RM1,688nett), Fortune Set Menu (RM1,988nett) and Prosperous Set Menu (RM2,488nett).

Among the featured dishes are Double-boiled Free-Range Chicken Soup with Fish Maw, Dried Scallop and Sea Whelk, Braised Whole Stuffed Sea Cucumber, Signature Fragrant Crispy Fried Free-Range Chicken, Steamed Marble Goby Soon Hock in Hong Kong Style, Wok-baked Sea Prawn with Salted Egg Mayo and Steamed Fragrant Fried Rice with Assorted Waxed Meat.

Xin Cuisine, a non-halal restaurant, also offers assorted waxed meat with rice and poon choy options, priced from RM88nett for a small portion and RM988nett for a 10-person portion, respectively.

The poon choy includes ingredients such as whole 10-head abalone, sea cucumber, sea prawn, dried scallop, dried oyster, fish maw, roast duck and roast pork.

The menu is available for lunch and dinner until Feb 12.
