AFTER a year-long pause, Milo Malaysia Breakfast Day (MBD) is making a comeback this year.

Celebrating Milo’s 75-year legacy in Malaysia, it is set to bring together 75,000 fans of the beverage across the country for the most important meal of the day.

Guided by the theme “Dulu, Kini dan Selamanya demi Malaysia” (Then, Now and Forever for Malaysia), this milestone will honour the history of Milo as a staple in Malaysian households.

Milo Malaysia business executive officer Ng Su Yen expressed excitement at bringing back Milo MBD that embodied the brand’s commitment to promoting active lifestyles.

“As we approach our 75th year in Malaysia, we take pride in our legacy of empowering the nation’s journey and promoting better health.

“Breakfast is the foundation of a productive day and a nutritious start enables Malaysians to achieve their best.

“Through this event, we continue to inspire and educate the community on the importance of making breakfast a daily priority,” she said.

The return of MBD will kick off in Putrajaya on Jan 19, followed by events in Kuantan, Pahang, on Feb 9.

Events include a fun run, celebrity guest appearances, Milo Fitness Workout sessions, interactive sports games and the presence of the iconic Milo Goodness Truck, among many energising activities.Participants will also have the chance to meet personalities like Marzuki Abdullah, affectionately known as Abang Milo.

Marzuki, 42, proudly continues the legacy of his father, Abdullah Man, as a second-generation Abang Milo.

As a Milo field promotion officer, he prepares each delightful batch of Milo and shares it with the public at special events.

“I used to tag along with my father when he would operate the Milo truck at school events.

“It inspired me to also be part of this and I’ve been doing this for 11 years,” he said.

The first 3,000 registrants for the fun run will get a chance to choose a MBD 2025 limited-edition jersey design.
