Chill out with boozy ice-cream treats at KL hotel

Cocktail enthusiasts visiting Kuala Lumpur this month can enjoy an inventive twist on dessert as scoops of ice-cream are turned into chilled sips.

Aloft by Marriott Kuala Lumpur Sentral and local ice-cream parlour Licky Chan have teamed up to present The Tipsy Scoop, a playful collection of cocktails infused with ice-cream.

Guests can expect a diverse range of flavours, from tropical and fruity to rich and creamy, offering something for every mood and palate.

The collaboration features three cocktails and two non-alcoholic concoctions incorporating Licky Chan’s signature ice-cream.

The cocktails include Licky Colada, which mixes Licky Chan’s I’m Kamming Out with Malibu Rum, Bacardi White, coconut and coconut syrup, offering notes of cherry amaretto, yuzu and coconut.

The Licky Mudslide cocktail blends Mood for Love ice cream, Kahlua, Baileys and milk to create a smooth, creamy sip with notes of macadamia, salted popcorn and dulce de leche.

For a boozy interpretation of an affogato, the Affo-Meister cocktail combines Hemingway Paloma ice-cream, Jagermeister, cherry, lemon and dried grapefruit for a zesty, bittersweet taste.

The non-alcoholic drinks are Coco-Bana, mixing ice-cream, chocolate syrup and milk for a comforting sip with a nostalgic finish; and Sunset Blush, which features Fior di Latte ice-cream topped with mango, strawberry and raspberry syrups for a burst of sweetness.

The Tipsy Scoop menu is available at Mai Bar throughout October, from 4pm to midnight daily.
