Two cable car services available for visitors to Genting Highlands

The Genting Gohtong Jaya Cable Car officially resumed operations from Oct 1.

Visitors can now choose between two cable cars that operate daily from 7am to 11pm.These are the iconic Genting Gohtong Jaya Cable Car and Genting Highlands Premium Outlets Cable Car, which were previously known as Awana SkyWay and Genting SkyWay respectively.

The Genting Gohtong Jaya Cable Car has been a key attraction delighting millions of local and international visitors since its grand opening in 1997.

Spanning 3.4km, it offers a scenic 15-minute ride through lush rainforests and cool mountain air of Mount Ulu Kali in Genting Sempah.

As it ascends, visitors are treated to breathtaking views of 130-million-year-old rainforests.

The Genting Gohtong Jaya Cable Car conveniently transports visitors from Gohtong Jaya Station to the Highlands Hotel.

Enjoy the classic Standard Gondola for RM10 one-way or RM18 return.

For visitors who prefer to skip the waiting time, the Express Boarding Gondola is available for RM16 one-way and RM30 for a return trip.

The most premium and exclusive option is the Chartered Gondola.

Priced at RM300 one-way and RM550 for a return trip, this option allows up to eight passengers in the private ride.
