KL boutique hotel brings on bijou delights for small eaters


Hotel Indigo Kuala Lumpur on the Park’s ‘Sajian Rimba’ captures the diverse flavours of Malaysia.

TO CATER to those who prefer small meals for break of fast, boutique outlet Hotel Indigo Kuala Lumpur on the Park is offering a combination of set-to-table service and semi-buffet concept.

Served at the hotel’s all-day dining restaurant Wok Star, this Ramadan menu called “Sajian Rimba” captures the diverse flavours of Malaysian cuisine.

The restaurant’s ambiance mirrors tropical lushness.

The menu starts with “Jelajah Lima Negeri Kerabu Bonda” featuring Banana Flower Salad with Chicken Fillet, Wild Prawn Salad with Young Pineapples, Roasted Beef Salad with Papaya and Tamarind Sauce, Mango Salad, and Fruit Rojak.

This is followed by an Ocean Grilled Platter offering Palembang Prawn and Red Snapper served with Tamarind Sauce, Spicy Soy Sauce and Portuguese Sambal.

The culinary team has also crafted a Wagyu Satay Platter, a culinary masterpiece featuring succulent Wagyu satay served with an enticing array of condiments, including glutinous rice, acar satay and a peanut sauce.

The main course, presented in the talam (community platter) style, includes Briyani Rice with Quail Egg, Poached Salmon with Tamarind Stew, Roasted Lamb with Coconut Gravy and Pineapple Salad with Avocado.

To sweeten the meal at the end, the Manisan Rimba counter offers a selection of local desserts.

The hotel’s Ramadan dinner is available from 6pm to 10pm until April 9.

It is priced at RM198 per adult and RM99 per child.
