SECURING a Putra Aria Brand Award for the second consecutive year solidifies Lalamove’s position as a reliable and affordable on-demand delivery service in Malaysia.

This accomplishment is particularly noteworthy as Lalamove clinched gold at the Putra Aria Brand Awards 2023, surpassing their silver win in the same ecommerce category for the year 2022.

Their “Midas touch” didn’t happen overnight. Since entering the Malaysian logistics industry in 2018, Lalamove has progressively become synonymous with on-demand delivery.

In an industry where logistics typically required several days, Lalamove disrupted the sector by ensuring deliveries could be completed within a matter of hours.

As a delivery platform, Lalamove’s strong brand influence is evident in the transformation of the term “delivery” into the catchphrase “just Lalamove it” for its users – showcasing the strength of its brand strategy.

But Lalamove recognises that effective branding extends beyond word-of-mouth.

Today, a Lalamove vehicle adorned with official stickers on the side or a rider with a Lalabag on his motorcycle has become a common sight.

According to Lalamove Malaysia managing director Jane Teh, this branding approach is to embed Lalamove in the hearts of Malaysians.

“Beyond being a contemporary form of ‘word of mouth’, we aspire for our Lalamove stickers and Lalabag to resonate with everyday Malaysians, signifying our commitment to affordable and reliable delivery services that are always available for their needs.

“The Lalamove stickers and Lalabag seen on the roads are intended to be a small yet meaningful touch in their lives, mirroring the essence of our delivery service.”

For 2024, Teh shares that Lalamove’s brand-building efforts will intensify, with plans to expand into more states, such as Perak and Negri Sembilan.

“Winning gold at the Putra Aria Brands Award has further strengthened our motivation to make 2024 our biggest year yet.

“We anticipate a continued role as the transformative delivery platform for our users and driver partners, enhancing their lives through our on-demand delivery service,” said Teh.
