Company to launch ang pow donation campaign for senior citizens nationwide

STM Lottery staff in high spirits ahead of the ang pow campaign.

STM Lottery Sdn Bhd (STM Lottery) will be holding its 37th Sports Toto Chinese New Year ang pow donation campaign, from Jan 18 to 23.

The campaign, which aimed to benefit needy senior citizens aged 60 and above in 50 cities and towns, will be launched at the Boulevard of Berjaya Times Square in Kuala Lumpur on Jan 18.

“Following the success of our previous launch at the same location, we are excited to return to Berjaya Times Square in the heart of Kuala Lumpur,” said STM Lottery communications and sustainability deputy general manager Giam Say Khoon.

“Our sincere thanks and warm welcome to Berjaya Times Square for embracing our corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme and once again serving as the venue sponsor for this campaign.”

Every senior citizen in the campaign will receive a mini hamper and a red envelope.

Senior citizens from Kuala Lumpur were invited to join the campaign launch.

All they need to bring along are their identity card for age verification and can come to Berjaya Times Square before 9am, as the distribution of items will be on a first-come, first-served basis from 9am to 10.30am.

No representatives will be permitted to collect items on behalf of someone else.

Senior citizens from other locations must register before the distribution day.

The campaign is a huge part of the Helping Hands programme, a CSR and sustainability initiative of STM Lottery.
