IN A move to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus, Seri Delima assemblyman Connie Tan Hooi Peng is distributing free face masks in her Penang constituency.

Tan started her rounds at about 9am and distributed the face masks to traders and patrons at Genting Cafe coffeeshop.

“I took the initiative to distribute face masks because we can see that Covid-19 cases are on the rise again.

“The fight is not over. It is crucial to raise awareness among the public.

“Besides masks, we also have to stay hydrated and drink plenty of water,” she said.
