State polls: Estate workers want eventual Dengkil rep to solve land rights issue

SOME 250 voters in Dengkil, Selangor say they will only vote for the candidate who pledges to get them the land promised to them 35 years ago.

The voters, comprising 62 former Kampung Sri Tanjung estate workers and their family members, said they are still waiting for land that was promised to them by the state in the 1980s.
