CAMPAIGN banners and billboards of Pakatan Harapan's Segambut candidate Hannah Yeoh have been vandalised in several locations in Taman Tun Dr Ismail (TTDI), Kuala Lumpur.

Three billboards, one at the junction of Jalan Datuk Sulaiman and Jalan Burhanuddin Helmi and two along Jalan Leong Yew Koh, were damaged.

Posters on the billboards with Yeoh's face were cut in half while a banner at the above junction was also pulled down.

The Segambut incumbent said TTDI residents texted her on Tuesday (Nov 8) morning to inform her of the damaged campaign material.

“We are the ones who put up campaign materials first.

“The Pakatan Harapan flags that were hung along the railings using cable tie along Jalan Burhanuddin Helmi were also brought down.

“I urge that that such dirty acts be stopped. Voters in TTDI would not condone such actions,” said Yeoh.

Yeoh said one of her agents will lodge a report at the Brickfields police station.

“Most areas have CCTV and I hope police will take action on these irresponsible people.

“These are not controversial materials, just ordinary campaign posters asking the people to vote for me.

“These acts will backfire on the culprits," Yeoh said.
