A NEW luxury resort, opened about two months ago, has already garnered public interest and is now collaborating with Star Media Group to host the CarSifu Editors’ Choice Awards 2022 on Nov 2.

For the event, M Resort and Hotel Kuala Lumpur will be lending its President Ballroom, a pillarless space that can entertain up to 1,000 people.

Hotel general manager Ho Hoy Sum said the resort could cater to big-scale events like the Star Media Group’s award show.

“Our ballroom can accommodate vehicles of substantial sizes like trucks,” he added.

Having just opened on Aug 31, the resort’s ballroom has already hosted a fashion show, Miss Universe Malaysia 2022 finals gala and the National Athletes Welfare Foundation’s seventh annual general assembly.

“We are always open to making new connections.

“Star Media Group is one of the most established media houses in Malaysia and I hope this partnership is the first of many more to come,” said Ho.

Star Media Group events senior general manager Corinne Chieng also looked forward to continuing the relationship with M Resort and Hotel Kuala Lumpur.

“The venue’s classy look and close proximity to Star Media Group headquarters in Petaling Jaya make it an ideal location for us.

“We hope to use the space for our forums, seminars, gala nights and launches,” she said.
