HR-V e:HEV RS.

WITH fuel economy and safety being the main concerns for many car buyers, Honda Malaysia has a number of vehicles in its line-up that address these two matters.

The newly introduced All-New HR-V e:HEV RS hybrid compact sports utility vehicle (SUV) will meet buyers’ expectations for low fuel consumption, while the Honda City Sedan V-SENSING with the Honda SENSING advanced driver assistance system will provide the driver and passengers with peace of mind when on the move.

Both of these two models will be available for viewing at the CarSifu Auto Show 2022 at The Mall, Mid Valley Southkey in Johor Baru from Oct 26 to 30.

All-New HR-V

The top variant of the All-new HR-V line-up is the e:HEV RS hybrid that comes with a two-motor system that delivers 131PS and 253Nm of torque for a balance of performance and fuel economy.

Assisting the motors are a DOHC i-VTEC Atkinson Cycle engine producing 107PS and 131Nm of torque coupled to an e-Continuously Variable Transmission for low fuel consumption of 4.1 litres per 100km.

In addition to savings on monthly fuel costs, the HR-V is also a stylish-looking sports utility vehicle (SUV) with fastback rear styling.

The HR-V is also offered in non-hybrid variants of S which is powered by a 1.5-litre DOHC i-VTEC engine delivering 121PS and 140Nm of torque, and the E and V variants equipped with a powerful 1.5-litre DOHC VTEC Turbo with 181PS and 240Nm of torque.

Buyers will also be rewarded with upmarket features such as Full LED headlights, LED Taillight strip, and a new Air Diffusion System that gently circulates cool air inside the cabin.

Also included is the most complete Honda SENSING advanced driver assistance system that comes with nine innovative features of Forward Collision Warning, Collision Mitigation Braking System, Lane Keep Assist System, Road Departure Mitigation, Lane Departure Warning, Auto High Beam, Adaptive Cruise Control, Low Speed Follow and Lead Car Departure Notification.

Standard features across the line-up include Agile Handling Assist, 8” display audio with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, multi-angle reverse camera, rear air-conditioning ventilation, centre console with armrest, USB ports, walk-away auto lock and smart entry with push start button.

The rear Multi-Utility Seats are also available for all variants of the HR-V and can be configured into Utility, Long or Tall modes for more flexibility in maximising cargo space.

The RS is the only variant to be equipped with RS bodykit and interior, hands-free power tailgate with walkaway close, sports pedals, dual zone auto air-conditioner, auto wipers and deceleration paddle selectors.

City V-SENSING

Based on the City sedan V variant, the City V-SENSING is an enhanced variant that is equipped with the Honda SENSING advanced driver assistance system.

It features Adaptive Cruise Control, Collision Mitigation Braking System, Forward Collision Warning, Lane Keep Assist System, Road Departure Mitigation, Lane Departure Warning and Auto High Beam for added safety.

As such, the City V-SENSING has the most complete advanced safety features in the B-segment with an attractive price tag that is below RM100,000.

Standard features include a new 7” TFT meter, a powerful 1.5-litre DOHC i-VTEC engine with 121PS and 145Nm of torque mated to a CVT, six airbags, Honda LaneWatch camera, 8” display audio with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, and rear air-conditioner vents.

Also included are LED Headlights and LED Daytime Running Lights, LED Fog Lights, LED Taillights, 16-inch alloy wheels and a 519-litre boot.
