TOURISM Johor has upgraded its Johor Tourism Interchange (JTI) app to make it easier for both domestic and international tourists to find useful information when visiting the state.
State tourism, environment, heritage and culture committee chairman K. Raven Kumar said the Market Place – which is the new feature in the JTI app – would make it easier for tourists to explore Johor.
“Under Market Place, which is the second phase of the JTI app, users can redeem tourism vouchers.
“The JTI app serves as a single platform to learn about Johor and its tourism destinations,” he said after launching the upgrade of the app at Puteri Harbour in Iskandar Puteri, Johor.
Raven Kumar added that through JTI, the public and tourists would be able to find out about major events being hosted in Johor.
JTI chief executive officer Mohd Fairuz Iskandar Abd Aziz said the new feature would add value to the app.
He said the app was supported by the state government.
“The updated app’s user interface makes navigation much easier.
“It will help domestic and international travellers better plan their trips here,” he said.
