Parking charges imposed at Mersing public beach

PARKING charges have been introduced at Pantai Air Papan in Mersing, Johor, to help improve public amenities and ensure cleanliness of the beach.

Mersing Tourism Association secretary Ahmad Firdaus Shaik Omar said the beach was shut down for two weeks because of the huge amount of rubbish dumped there.
