Education fair for SPM, STPM and UEC school-leavers


Education & Further Studies Fair - Series 54 will be held over two weekends in Kuala Lumpur and Johor Baru.

SPM, STPM and UEC school-leavers will find the upcoming Education & Further Studies Fair – Series 54 of interest.

To be held over two weekends in Kuala Lumpur and Johor Baru, it also aims to benefit teachers, university students, working adults, members of the industry and the general public seeking higher education opportunities.

For those planning to sign up for undergraduate and post-graduate courses, the fair will provide answers to the best colleges and universities, courses, scholarships and career possibilities.

They can also seek advice from educationists and counsellors on the types of specialised training and academic courses available in Malaysia and overseas.

Visitors can “shop” for a wide range of courses such as business studies, accountancy, hotel management, aviation, baking, beauty, broadcasting, law, applied sciences, communication studies, engineering, multimedia, IT and computer science, medicine, architecture, interior design, dance, nursing, automotive, early childhood education and counselling.

Over 100 colleges and universities will take part in the fair organised by Sureworks Sdn Bhd.

The event will also provide options for courses ranging from Certificate, Diploma, Degree, Masters to PhD.

The first weekend of the fair (June 25 and 26) will be held at Mid Valley Exhibition Centre (MVEC) in Kuala Lumpur (Halls 1, 2, 3 and Foyer) and MVEC Southkey in Johor Baru (Hall 1).

On July 2 and 3, it will be held at the Kuala Lumpur venue, where consultation on education fund and study loan will be available as well.

Also available only at the Kuala Lumpur venue are free career test to help students know their personality and career pathway, as well as information on participating colleges and universities.

There will be a fun quiz where participants stand a chance to win RM10,000 and RM3,000 course rebate vouchers, among other prizes, sponsored by Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation.

The event will be open for free to the public from 11am to 6pm. However, only fully-vaccinated visitors will be allowed entry.
