CONSTRUCTION of the Ayer Itam-Lebuhraya Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu bypass (Package Two), which is part of the Penang Transport Master Plan project, is ahead of schedule and expected to complete in 2025.

Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow said the project was seeing good progress following ECK Development Sdn Bhd taking over major shareholding of Consortium Zenith Construction Sdn Bhd, which is the design and build contractor of the three major roads and undersea tunnel project.
