Bank lends support to visually impaired with white canes and free courses

Agrobank, through its flagship “Agrobank dan Komuniti” programme, is honouring the visually and hearing impaired in conjunction with the White Cane Safety Day celebrated on Oct 15.

Its covering president/chief executive officer Khadijah Iskandar said, “As a banking institution that is close to the heart of the community, especially in meeting the needs of under-served communities, Agrobank feels it is responsible for providing assistance to the blind and has donated 100 white canes to the Society of the Blind Malaysia (SBM).”
