Bring back practice of Rule 5, say city folk

KUALA Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) has been urged to continue holding public objection hearings — as provided for under Rule 5 of a by-law in the Federal Territory Planning Act 1982 — for proposed developments in the city.

City folk raised the issue when the Kuala Lumpur City Plan (KLCP) 2020 was gazetted in 2018 and consequently, Rule 5 was not practised anymore.
