UNKNOWN to many, next to the Sungai Batu Archaeological Complex in Kuala Muda, Kedah, lie five ancient tombs.
One of the tombs is believed to be that of Sultan Mudzaffar Shah I, the first Ruler of the current Kedah Sultanate who reigned from 1136 to 1179.
