Yakult clinches top category win at Putra Brand Awards

YAKULT (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, the world’s leading manufacturer of probiotic beverage, is once again recognised as one of the most trusted brands in the country.

Yakult was voted the platinum winner in the Dairy (Beverage) category at the Putra Brand Awards 2020, the second consecutive year it has won platinum.

In its 11th year, the Putra Brand Awards also known as the People’s Choice Awards rewards local and international brands.

This annual premier brand awards is organised by the Association of Accredited Advertising Agents Malaysia (4As) in association with Malaysia’s Most Valuable Brands (MMVB).

Consumers vote for their preferred brands via a survey held nationwide each year.

“We are honoured to be chosen for this award once again, ” said Yakult (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd managing director Hiroshi Hamada.

“This award is very meaningful to us and we really appreciate it as we were chosen based on consumer votes.

The brand launched its Misi Sihat Yakult campaign in 2019

as part of its corporate social responsibility programme to educate students about probiotics and the importance of keeping a healthy digestion.

The campaign has achieved 90% of its target of 1,000 schools nationwide – covering pre-, primary, secondary and private schools.

Yakult will be back in schools to hold health talks for students once the pandemic situation settles.

Yakult is the platinum winner in the Beverage (Dairy) category of the Putra Brand Awards 2020.
