THE absence of tourists and temporary closure of many businesses under the movement control order have dimmed the lustre of Kuala Lumpur’s commercial, shopping and entertainment hub – the Golden Triangle – and other iconic places in the city centre like Petaling Street.

But the retailers who remain open for business believe better times are ahead.
