THE visually impaired rely solely on touch and sound to get by which places them at higher risk of being exposed to Covid-19.

Closing its doors to keep its residents safe, St Nicholas’ Home for the Blind now has eight in-house residents — all senior folk who reside at the home in Jalan Bagan Jermal, Penang.
