Quantum resonance technology is scientifically proven to kill the Covid-19 virus in one minute, said Liew.
THE Quantum-Ion mask developed and manufactured by Malaysian company Bagman Corporation Sdn Bhd is marketed as a face mask with coating that is capable of killing 99.99% of the Covid-19 virus in one minute.
The product is a “high quality, three-ply reusable face mask coated with patented quantum-resonance anti-viral and anti-bacterial coating technology, ” said in a statement from Bagman.
It said that this is the world’s first “quantum resonance hybrid nano formulation” liquid solution; once coated and bonded onto textiles, it eliminates airborne allergens such as viruses, bacteria, odours and total volatile organic compounds (TVOCs) permanently.
“It is important to note that most ‘antimicrobial’ face masks utilise only silver or copper ionic and requires at least two hours to eliminate viruses, ” said Bagman Corporation chief executive officer Datuk Liew Bin.
“Quantum resonance technology is scientifically proven to kill Covid-19 in one minute. The technology has also been extensively tested on human safety by Sirim. It is tested to be safe for oral, skin and eye toxicity.
“The mask is washable up to 50 times without losing its properties and because it removes odours while drastically reducing cross-infection; we recommend washing once a week. This means that a Quantum-Ion mask can replace up to 350 disposable masks, reducing PPE waste and its impact on the environment, ” said Liew.
The product is now available at pharmacies and independent stores nationwide, including Alpro Pharmacy, AM PM Pharmacy, Healthlane Pharmacy, Kinabalu Pharmacy, JOM Pharmacy and Pharmart Pharmacy.
