Food bank benefits 86,000 in Johor


The food bank programme and e-bazaar initiative were among the topics discussed at the Johor state assembly sitting yesterday. — Bernama

ISKANDAR PUTERI: A total of RM8.545mil has been allocated by the state government for its food bank programme under the Ihsan Johor economic stimulus package.

State unity, trade and consumer affairs committee chairman Dr Chong Fat Full said that a total of 86,000 individuals had benefitted from the programme, which was carried out in three phases.
