Revving up blood donation drives

WITH the increasing caution and screening of Covid-19 cases, the number of people who turn up for blood donations at Penang Hospital has decreased.

Penang Hospital transfusion medicine specialist Dr Anizah Arshad, 41, said the hospital’s blood bank department had to increase the frequency of donation drives at multiple locations to get more people to step forward to donate.
