Lift suspension of liquor licence application, urge groups

Yap says the suspension of liquor licence applications will affect the tourism industry.

TRADE groups want the Federal Territories Ministry and Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) to lift the suspension on liquor licences as businesses are still reeling from massive losses due to the movement control order (MCO).

They are calling for the Excise Licensing Board of the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur (ELBKL) to be reconvened quickly to enable members to renew their expiring liquor licence.
