Restoring computers for needy students

THE Penang government is appealing to private companies to donate their used computer- related items for needy students under the state’s E-Learning Computer Programme.

State women and family development committee chairman Chong Eng said the used desktops, demo tablets or notebooks would be refurbished before being loaned or given out to eligible recipients.
