Public transport allowance for frontliners doing shift work

BUKIT Gasing assemblyman Rajiv Rishyakaran has set up a scheme offering a one-off RM100 transport allowance for essential workers who need to use public transport during the movement control order (MCO).

Launched on March 24, it offers financial aid to workers relying on public transport for shift work, who now must depend on taxis or e-hailing services to get to their workplace.
