Bazaar showcases handicraft and sweet treats by local entrepreneurs

A weekend bazaar featuring sustainable local businesses was held in conjunction with International Women’s Day.

The event which took place at The Hub@SS2 in Petaling Jaya, showcased a range of offerings by various stalls.

Buskers also performed at the event.

Knotjustheadbands, a social enterprise, also set up a stall at the bazaar.

Their headbands were handpicked from local block batik factories in Kelantan and hand-sewn by Malaysians.

Meanwhile, Merry Me from Penang sold local ice cream flavours like teh tarik and tau sah peah.

Other participating stores included local jewellery brand Psyndrome with an all-female operations team and Qlarai which showcased various art pieces, including decoupage where cut-outs were pasted on products such as bags, clutches, diffusers and accessories.
