LIGHTS do not only brighten up space but with strategic placement, it can create a relaxing mood and comfortable ambience to a home.

At Perfect Lifestyle ‘20 home expo, visitors can play up their spaces at home to make one house more welcoming with the help of Avalon lightings.

The three-day exposition will be held at Mid Valley Exhibition Centre, Kuala Lumpur from Jan 3 to 5.

Top Lamp Holdings (M) Sdn Bhd, which carries the Avalon brand, will showcase its range of lightings and chandelier at the expo.

Company director Albert Tai said the company gave tailor-made consultation so that the functions of lightings could be further maximised.

One of the highlights is the Pak 12W energy-saving downlight.

“Compared to other conventional 18W downlights, the Pak downlight is brighter and comes with a three-year warranty.

“It allows 24 hours of operations without dimming with a better driver system to lengthen its lifespan.

“Another plus point is that it is durable so that users do not need to change it often, as it may damage the plaster ceiling, ” he said.

Tai said installing suitable lighting could get slightly technical but with proper

consultation, it could give one’s house a warm and relaxing vibe.

“For example, if houseowners have wallpaper or artwork that they want to highlight, they can use focal lighting.

“Installing it in the bathroom can also eliminate shadow while one wants to use the mirror, ” he said, adding that both lightings could combine function to give a bright or relaxing mode.

When it comes to lighting, Tai recommended quality products that are also energy saving.

“Many people look for affordable lighting but do not account for energy-saving features that can help them save a lot in the long run, ” he said.

Visitors will be spoilt for choice with a myriad of lightings and chandeliers in different designs at two booths.

The first 500 visitors will walk away with Perfect Livin Dry Bag 2L every day of the exhibition.

Exhibition opening hours are from 11am to 10pm. Admission is free.
