THE original facade of the former Odeon Cinema building in Kuala Lumpur should be maintained in the event it is redeveloped later, says the International Council on Monuments and Sites (Icomos) Malaysia.
Its president Datuk Hajeedar Abdul Majid said creative reuse of the old building would allow it to be enjoyed by future generations.
