KUCHING: The Big Bad Wolf book sale is returning to Kuching for a second year.

From now to May 5, book lovers can shop for a wide variety of titles in English and Bahasa Malaysia at Mydin Petra Jaya from 10am to midnight.

“We are answering the call of our fans in Sarawak by bringing the Big Bad Wolf book sale to them this year.

“We understand that many are unable to visit our annual sale due to the distance,” Big Bad Wolf founder Andrew Yap said in a statement.

Customers can find bestsellers, young adult titles, children’s books, romance, sci-fi, crime, thrillers, business titles, art and design books, cookbooks and more at the sale.

Education books from over 40 local publishers and Malaysian novels from Buku Fixi, Lejen Press, DuBook Press and Iman Publication will also be available.

“In an effort to strengthen our commitment to make affordable books accessible, we are really happy that we are able to be in Kuching again with a better selection of books and a larger variety as well,” Yap said.

In addition, Big Bad Wolf’s Red Readerhood programme will partner with local charity Barefoot Mercy to donate 200 books for children in Long Lamam, Ulu Baram.

The public can buy and donate books at the Red Readerhood booth during the sale.
