Jenjarom residents want battery factory out of their village

KAMPUNG Jenjarom residents want the Selangor government to move a factory manufacturing batteries out of their neighbourhood in Kuala Langat.

The 100-odd residents who are mostly senior citizens carried posters and placards in protest outside the factory during a visit by Selangor Environment, Green Technology and Consumer Affairs Committee chairman Hee Loy Sian and Selangor Environment Department (DoE) director Shafee’ee Yasin.
