1 HOT AIR BALLOON
The 10th Putrajaya International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta will be held over the weekend at Precint 2, Putrajaya. Visitors are able to observe the setting up of a hot air balloon flight. There will also be 80 booths, 20 food trucks and activities like Go Kart, Zorb ball, reverse bungee, inflatable trampoline, water orb and archery. The fiesta is a free-for-all event. Wei-Ling Contemporary is featuring ‘Saring’, Hamidi Hadi’s new artworks and culmination of endeavours in his search of a ‘higher self’ at RT01, Sixth Floor, The Gardens Mall, Kuala Lumpur, from April 5 to May 5. The choice of used paper as the main material for this series is due to the artist’s concern towards the impact human beings have on the environment. It opens from Tuesday to Sunday, 11am to 7pm. Sofitel Kuala Lumpur Damansara unveiled its first art exhibition in collaboration with contemporary artist Voon Kim Cheong, whose artworks blend local expression while creating cultural journeys that showcase the very best of Malaysia’s diverse influences. The exhibition will run until until May 22 and all artworks from Voon are for sale.
