Repeatedly delayed project frustrates stakeholders

SEVERAL business owners along Jalan Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur, are planning legal action against Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) for failing to complete a RM2.4mil flood mitigation project near the Bangsar LRT station, resulting in property damage and loss in revenue.

They claim the stalled project was postponed several times this year, and that DBKL was directly responsible for the damage to their properties during the flash flood in early November.
