Students collect 150,000kg of recyclable waste

STUDENTS from various schools in Penang became top environmental saviours after collecting about 150,000kg of recyclable materials in a campaign.

The haul was from efforts of students in 109 pre-schools, 23 kindergartens, 49 primary schools and 37 secondary schools during the nine-month campaign from Jan 1 to Sept 30.
