TRAFFIC MATTERS

• The right-most and left-most lanes on the ramp from Jalan Istana (southbound) and from Jalan Tun Razak (southbound) near the former Sungai Besi Mazda and Porsche showrooms will be closed. The closure will take place in stages from Sept 10 to Sept 14 between 24 hours and 48 hours. For details, visit www.mymrt.com.my or call 1-800-82-6868.

• Partial road closure at Jalan Suasa 2 and Jalan Suasa 3, Kuala Lumpur in front of Masjid Ibnu Khaldun and old Sungai Besi police quarters until Oct 23. It is to facilitate the installation of temporary noise barriers, utilities relocations and other related works. There will be intermittent one-lane closure on Jalan Suasa 2 in front of Sungai Besi police quarters while one lane will be made available for motorists from Jalan Suasa 3.

• There will be a continuation of full bound closure along Jalan Kepong (Jinjang-bound) by stages and intermittently, until Nov 30 from 10pm to 5am daily to facilitate Segmental Box Girder launch among other MRT construction works.

• There will be full-bound closure along Jalan Jinjang Utama (Kuala Lumpur-bound) until Nov 16, from 10pm to 5am daily. For details, visit www.mymrt.com.my or call their hotline at 03-7494 2222.

AIRLINE FEST

AirAsia Big Loyalty returns with this year’s Big Fest from Sept 14 to 17 at Quill City Mall in Kuala Lumpur. It will be held from 10am to 10pm. DANCE PERFORMANCE

The Mahavidya Dance Theatre will showcase a special bharatanatyam performance called Jeevathma (the soul or Essence of Life in Sanskrit) which introduces the audience to the principles underpinning natya, using theatre and dance.
