NON-profit organisation Compassionate Care Foundation is giving the underprivileged a chance to undergo subsidised Hi-Bliss Hydrogen Therapy through its Love.Hope.Health campaign.

The non-invasive and alternative therapy is intended to help those suffering from chronic pain and skin allergies.

With the help of IRCare Sdn Bhd, the foundation will subsidise 50% of treatment costs for every needy person.

The therapy costs a minimum RM90 per session, depending on the patient’s condition.

“We believe that by helping to relieve pain and restore good health to the less fortunate, we can reduce physical suffering as well as bring about positive and long-term impact to their lives,” said foundation co-founder and board director Daena Chan at the launch of the treatment centre in Damansara Utama, Petaling Jaya.

The campaign aims to reach out to 50 underprivileged people before it ends in December.

Foundation co-founder Jayse Ong said it was approaching organisations and corporations to be sponsors in the campaign so that the therapy could be free in years to come.

The foundation has roped in social activist Tan Sri Lee Lam Thye as its adviser.

“I have always supported efforts to help poor people regardless of where they come from.

“I will give my best in helping the foundation to fulfil its mission,” said Lee.

The campaign is open to underprivileged individuals with a household or personal income of less than RM2,500 per month, elderly folk who have been abandoned by their families, those unemployed due to chronic pain or other illnesses listed by the board members.

Therapy will be conducted at Lot 01, Level 3A, Menara TH Uptown, No 3, Jalan SS21/39, Damansara Utama, Petaling Jaya.
