24-hour PJ eateries prefer 4am-6am closure for clean-up

BEGINNING July 1, all 24-hour restaurants in Petaling Jaya must close from 1am to 3am to clean up their premises, with failure to comply resulting in operators getting their operating licence revoked.

This effort by the Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ)  to increase the standard of cleanliness at such eateries met with some apprehension as operators say the mandated hours are when business is at its peak.
