Adnan retains Pelangai for eighth consecutive term

PAHANG Barisan Nasional will form the next state government with a simple majority after winning 25 of the 42 state seats in GE14, including Pelangai, which was retained by state Barisan chairman Datuk Seri Adnan Yaakob for the eighth consecutive term.

Adnan won by a majority of 2,312 votes, defeating PKR’s Nor Haizan Abu Hasan, who had 3,098 votes and PAS candidate Zaharin Osman, who received 1,817 votes.
