The Christmas edition of the “Do Good. Grant A Wish” project is picking up momentum.
The three homes selected to benefit from this project are Rumah SVP Klang, Pertubuhan Kebajikan Yesuvin Mahligai Selangor in Kajang and Destiny Starting Point 1 in Klang.
For those interested to donate items for the campaign, there are a few things to take note to ensure a smooth and convenient process.
StarMetro will be collecting the items and delivering them to the welfare homes, however, this is limited to smaller items such as canned food, small electrical items and stationery due to limited storage space.
For donations of bulk items such as commercial freezer, washing machine, refrigerator, cupboards and tables, donors are advised to contact StarMetro at the contact number given below.
The collection for the donated goods will take place from now until Dec 15.
Donors will have to contact StarMetro earlier to make arrangements to deliver the items to Menara Star.
The items can be dropped off between 11am and 4pm on weekdays at the loading bay of Menara Star in Phileo Damansara 2, No 15, Jalan 16/11, Section 16, 46350, Petaling Jaya.
There will be no collection during weekends and public holidays.
Please note we are not collecting cash, cheques, perishable items (such as fish, poultry or fresh vegetables), used clothing, old newspapers, old computers, recyclable items and second-hand goods for this donation drive.
StarMetro would like to thank all individuals and corporations for supporting this noble project to ease the burden of children residing in the homes who are in need of basic supplies and rectification to their premises.
