SIBU: Sibu residents hope their request for a low-cost carrier to fly the Sibu-Kota Kinabalu sector will be considered by the Federal Government.

Sibu Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCCI) chairman Dr Hii Sui Cheng said they will continue asking that the exclusivity clause is dropped for the Sibu-KK sector so that other airlines are allowed to fly the route.
