Signature drive aimed at registering residents’ objections against overdevelopment


A volunteer approaching local residents to inform them about the signature campaign to urge DBKL to stop the over-development in Taman Desa.

Residents of Taman Desa, Kuala Lumpur, are putting words to action as they embarked on a petition to address issues of overdevelopment in the area. 

According to Taman Desa Residents Association (TDRA), Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) has processed or approved at least seven high-rise and high-density residential projects in Taman Desa, Danau Desa and Bukit Desa, which will adversely affect the residents’ living environment.
