WELCOMING plans to expand the airports in Penang and Langkawi in Budget 2018, Penang Chinese Chamber of Commerce (PCCC) president Datuk Seri Choot Ewe Seng said the chamber had brought up the need to upgrade the Penang International Airport two years ago.
Choot said the move was pressingly needed as the airport had become congested.
